Letters to Get Lost Magazine
August 2000

Okay, We inhaled. But we didn't enjoy it.

Hmm. Dave McBee reads a map to go where he has been before and gets lost among government housing, hip-high weeds and rusted auto hulks on a reservation, but stops to admire frog eggs in puddles. Hmm.

Nick Mistretta, on the other hand, reprises "my week-long festival of debauchery is a foggy recollection at best." [Amsterdam, June 2000] And the recollections of one day's red-eyed adventure proves it. Hmm.

Was there a link to High Times hidden somewhere in the June issue?

BTW, enjoyed it all, as usual.

iPaul

On the surface it may seem... suspicious, and, like maybe I have been a bad influence what with the thing with the bee in the desert, but I assure you Dave and Nick are either straight arrows or not admitting anything, and fully able to get into their own variety of trouble without my rather feeble example at arrested counter-culture experimentation. In fact, I think I need to look into this topic further. Did you know that brownie mix is really good raw? What? Shut up.

We got more reader mail but we lost it.
