How’s this for remote: at the Conflict Islands Resort you’ll find just six private beachfront ensuite bungalows, situated on the main island of Panasesa. Air Nuigini operate flights from Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns to Alotau (via Port Moresby). From Alotau Conflict Islands Resort can arrange boat transfers – N.B. boat transfers take approximately 12 hours each way. Alternatively private and charter flights can be arranged, with landings on the Conflict Islands airstrip possible.
