Airbnb unveils a new signature experienceMexico City, Mexico
Ever wanted to sleep where legends play? Well, here’s your chance. Airbnb is offering an insane, once-in-a-lifetime stay inside Mexico City Stadium, and yes, football fans, it’s as wild as it sounds.
On April 5, four lucky guests will check into private VIP suites perched pitch-side, with views that put season-ticket holders to shame. The “Pentapichichi” himself will guide fans through the stadium, reveal the secrets behind his iconic bicycle kick, and host mini table-football battles in “La Tribuna de Hugol,” a fan space curated just for this historic experience.
But once you’re done geeking out with Sánchez, it’s time to move in. Suites overlooking the pitch. Meals inspired by Mexican flavours, cooked by a private chef. And the stadium is yours. Alone. Seriously. Imagine waking up, stepping onto the field, and realizing this is your stadium for the night.
And just when you think it can’t get more ridiculous, guests also score tickets to the opening match of FIFA World Cup 2026™, returning to the same stadium for the ultimate football spectacle.
Sánchez puts it best: “They won’t just see it from the stands: they will inhabit it, feel it and wake up in the same place where memorable chapters of our sport have been written.”
Basically, it’s a football fan’s dream on steroids; pitch-side luxury, exclusive stories, food, games, and a World Cup ticket. Sleepovers will never be the same.
Guests can request to book this overnight stay starting Monday, March 23 at 11:00 AM CST airbnb.com/hugol. Bookings are first come, first served. The experience is free, and one group of four guests will be selected to attend the overnight stay taking place between April 5-6. The stay is completely free of charge, and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. Travel to the stay and to the World Cup match is not included, and spots will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
