G Adventures launches new trips with National Geographic

Travel is better when it comes with context. G Adventures and National Geographic seem to agree, expanding their Signature collection with 17 new itineraries designed to go beyond the surface.

Launched earlier this year, the Signature range leans into small-group journeys that prioritise access, expertise and community impact over polished, one-size-fits-all experiences. The latest drop pushes things further, with new trips across places like Bhutan, Spain and the Canadian Rockies, bringing the total to 49 itineraries across 44 destinations.

Each trip is led by National Geographic Expedition Leaders, with input from on-the-ground experts and specialists spanning fields from history to conservation. The result is a style of travel that feels less like ticking sights off a list and more like actually understanding where you are, and who you’re meeting along the way.

A few standouts: an eight-day journey through Bhutan, where monastery visits and meetings with local insiders offer a window into life in the Himalayas; a deep dive into Turkey, from Istanbul to Cappadocia; and a slower look at northern Spain, where prehistoric caves, coastal food culture and winemaking traditions all come into play.

It’s a simple idea, but it’s done properly; travel with people who know what they’re talking about, go a bit deeper, and leave a place better than you found it.
