Zannier Bãi San Hô reopensĐắk Lắk Province, Vietnam
Some places close for a quick refresh. Others get smacked by a typhoon, pick themselves up, and quietly remind everyone why they were worth the trip in the first place.
Zannier Bãi San Hô is officially back from 1 April 2026, reopening after Typhoon Kalmaegi tore through Vietnam late last year and forced the beachfront hideaway to shut its doors. Not exactly the kind of ‘closed for renovations’ sign you want to see on arrival.
What followed wasn’t a quick patch job. We’re talking months of meticulous restoration, up to 200 workers on-site at peak, and a full-scale effort to bring everything - villas, gardens, communal spaces - back to the kind of detail-heavy perfection the Zannier name hangs its hat on.
But here’s the part that actually matters: they rebuilt it properly. The resort doubled down on its connection to the surrounding community, working with local craftsmen, keeping every staff member employed, and even running English training sessions during the downtime. When the storm hit hardest, they also stepped in to support nearby families.
Set between rice paddies, rolling hills and a stretch of coastline that looks like it belongs on a screensaver, the place hasn’t lost its sense of calm; if anything, it’s gained a bit of grit.
The usual experiences are back too: destination dining, wellness offerings, and cultural deep-dives that go beyond the surface-level ‘authentic’ tick-box. There’s even a cheeky stay-four-pay-three deal floating around, if you needed another excuse.
Because if you’re going to escape somewhere, it may as well be somewhere that’s actually fought to be here.
Zannier B.i San H. is accessible via Tuy H.a Airport (TBB) or Phu Cat Airport (UIH), both at approximately a one-hour drive from the resort, with domestic connections available from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. The Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR) in Nha Trang is an alternative for international travellers. Limousine transfers are provided upon request at an additional charge.
To celebrate the reopening, guests are invited to enjoy the “Pay 3, Stay 4” offer, available until 31 October 2026. For every three consecutive nights booked, one additional night is offered complimentary, along with 30 minutes of stand-up paddleboarding or water biking, and a refreshing mocktail. By choosing to stay, guests also contribute to supporting Đắk Lắk province and a broader vision of regenerative travel that honours both people and place.
