The Hari set to open in Singapore

30 Jun 2026

Every now and then, a hotel gets a complete personality transplant.

That’s exactly what’s happening on Orchard Road, where the former Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is being transformed into The Hari Singapore, the third property from the boutique luxury brand behind acclaimed hotels in London and Hong Kong.

Opening in spring 2027, the 326-room hotel promises to bring a more design-led, art-focused experience to one of Singapore’s busiest neighbourhoods. Expect a rooftop pool for escaping the city’s humidity, wellness facilities, an executive lounge, destination dining and one of The Hari brand’s signature touches: a revolving collection of contemporary artwork that changes throughout the year.

Leading the redesign is British interior designer Tara Bernerd, who also shaped the look and feel of The Hari’s London and Hong Kong properties. Her vision combines contemporary elegance with a strong sense of place, creating interiors that feel distinctly Singapore without losing the character the brand has become known for.

For travellers, it means another compelling reason to stay in the heart of Orchard Road, with shopping, dining and some of Singapore’s best neighbourhoods all within easy reach.

The Hari may only have two hotels to its name so far, but the brand has built a reputation for thoughtful design, genuine hospitality and hotels that feel more like stylish residences than traditional city stays.

Come spring 2027, Singapore will be next in line.
